Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is a free program offered in a series of six lessons in a curriculum designed to teach families with children about USDA recommendations using an interactive approach. Each lesson contains research-based information on nutrition, stretching food dollars, physical activity, food safety, and parenting tips. The series will include two cooking demonstrations which includes recipes and food tastings. Participants receive educational enhancements that relate to the lesson of the day.
A representative from The Ohio State University Extension will facilitate this workshop.
