Providing Hope for Senior adults (age 60+), and people with disabilities going through financial and life challenges.
We know that life can be challenging, especially for those who are older and those who have limitations on their abilities or income. If you fit one of these categories, our supportive coaches are here to provide you with hope, encouragement, and support. Our goal is to help you maintain or improve your overall well-being and stability. We get to know you personally and seek to understand your unique situation and challenges. Our conversations are confidential.
A Supportive Coach will meet with you for a 10 to 20 minute conversation once or twice a month, typically when you visit WARM for food assistance. Sometimes we may even meet by phone. When you share a life challenge and we uncover a particular need, we will suggest or refer you to resources to address that need. This may include government benefit assistance programs, such as SNAP or WIC, or local support services. We collaborate with organizations including: IMPACT Community Action, the Westerville and Blendon Township Senior Centers, Concord Counseling (for counseling and senior transportation assistance), local churches, and many others.
As we get to know you and you get to know us, you may view us as a friend, or even an extended member of your family. We value you and establishing a relationship with you. We will become your biggest cheerleaders, encouraging you along our journey together. We will pray with and for you. We know that prayers can change everything.
