  • VOLUNTEER - ROLES

    • There are countless ways WARM volunteers serve as a witness in the Westerville community. While most volunteers stock shelves, organize the pantry and shop with clients through the choice food pantry, many help in other ways. If you are interested in running a local food drive, see the Food Drive page for more details and printable handouts!

      Volunteers are generally scheduled for 2 hour shifts, once per week, though some volunteers generously donate additional hours.

      Regular Volunteer Service Opportunities

      • Pantry/Market Worker – shop for clients in our market & deliver items directly to cars
      • Quality Control/Distribution Center (QC) – break down, sort, date check, arrange and pack various donations and food items
      • Cleaning/Maintenance – throughout facility
      • Childhood Nutrition – help pack, date check and organize meals in the childhood nutrition area to support Share Bac a Pac & Kids Lunch Club
      • Driver – drive or accompany driver on truck and van runs to various food suppliers
      • Service Learning Leader – lead service group projects in Distribution Center
      • Reception – perform administrative tasks in Client or General Reception
      • Client Services Volunteer – connect clients to community resources
      • Pastoral Care – for ministers or those with ministry training to provide spiritual support to clients, volunteers and staff
      • Employment Services – help clients with resumes, interviews and more
      • Other role defined by YOU!
