WARM’s mission is “to provide compassionate short-term assistance, educational services and spiritual support in order to encourage individuals to achieve a God-reliant, self-sufficient life while restoring dignity and hope with a ‘hand up, not a hand out.’”
Incorporated in 2001 as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, WARM addresses the basic human needs of unemployed and underemployed residents of the Westerville Ohio School District. WARM is a USDA-approved food provider serving a target population of families that live at or below 230% of the federal poverty threshold established by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Our origin can be traced back to the 1970s and Paul’s Pantry, a food pantry at St. Paul Catholic Church. Today, WARM is a faith-based, non-profit charity serving the 100,000 residents of the 52-square-mile Westerville School District.
